WisdomTree strengthens sales team with Director of Nordics appointment

WisdomTree, the exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor, has today announced the appointment of Björn Sandberg as Director of Nordic Sales.
Björn, based in Stockholm, Sweden, joined WisdomTree’s growing European sales team on 7 June 2021. He will be responsible for driving WisdomTree’s sales and business development efforts across the Nordics. This includes strategic planning, strengthening existing relationships and broadening WisdomTree’s investor base.
Björn has 30 years of experience in the investment management industry, having spent the last eight years at Amundi as Head of ETF, Indexing & Smart Beta Client Relationship for the Nordic region. Björn was responsible for developing Amundi’s ETF, Indexing & Smart Beta presence in the Nordics, turning it into a fast-growing business. Prior to that, he was Head of Sales, Nordic clients for Cheuvreux.
Signalling its commitment to building a truly European sales team, WisdomTree will also expand its Benelux and French Speaking Regions sales team. On 1st July, Daniel Bosma will join WisdomTree’s European sales team as a senior associate focusing on the wealth segment in the Benelux region.
