WisdomTree Offers Diversified Global Dividend Equity Model Portfolio to Financial Advisors Through Directa’s New Platform, dPro
Milan: WisdomTree, an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor, is pleased to announce a collaboration with Directa SIM, a leading Italian financial brokerage company, to offer WisdomTree’s Global Dividend Equity Model Portfolio to financial advisors on Directa’s new platform, dPro.
WisdomTree’s Global Dividend Equity Model Portfolio was designed to demonstrate how seven of WisdomTree’s global UCITS ETFs can be combined to create a core diversified, broad global equity portfolio. The model portfolio offers similar geographical weights to that of the MSCI All Country World Index (MSCI ACWI)—an Index often representative of investors’ preference for diversified equities—and has been designed to tilt towards high yielders and small caps in an attempt to generate above average yields. The ETFs included in the model portfolio are built on WisdomTree’s proprietary dividend weighted methodology aimed at generating stronger risk-adjusted returns compared to traditional cap-weighted approaches.
“We’re delighted to collaborate with Directa SIM and offer WisdomTree’s first European UCITS Global Dividend Equity Model Portfolio to their advisors as a tool to use,” said Antonio Sidoti, Director of Italian Sales for WisdomTree in Europe. “Advisors appreciate seeing how the WisdomTree model may help to generate higher income in an environment where treasury yields are at all-time lows. Specifically, the model’s small cap tilt offers investors the potential upside of companies with revenue and earning streams that are more closely linked to the growth of local economies. Overall, since inception, the model outperformed (annualised) the MSCI ACWI Value Index by 1.82%1—so we believe it can add value in advisors’ portfolios,” Sidoti said.
Directa’s dPro platform is designed to help IFAs manage their clients’ investments by offering portfolio construction tools. dPro also offers IFAs the ability to propose investment recommendations automatically to their clients in a simple, clear and effective way.
Gabriele Villa, Head of International Business Development at Directa, said “By collaborating with WisdomTree we’re providing an additional level of service to advisors using our dPro platform, and helping them achieve their investment goals in an increasingly complex global macro environment. In particular advisors appreciate seeing how portfolios work in practice and how ETFs can be combined to achieve specific investment outcomes. WisdomTree’s Global Dividend Equity Model Portfolio does just this and thanks to our dPro platform advisors are able service their clients better.”
WisdomTree’s Global Dividend Equity Model Portfolio is available now on the dPro platform.
